Congratulations to 13UG and 12UB for their success in Winston-Salem

Over the course of the tournament, two CSC teams made it to the finals in their division. The 13UG team, 2005 players, coached by Courtney Long, finished in first place in the 13U/14U division and our 12UB, 2006/2007 players, coached by Brian Smith, Drew Weir, and Alan Cummins placed second in the 12U division.

Congratulations to all teams that competed. You played strong and made us proud.

The CSC U12G Crash finished in second place at the Elite Beat the Heat Tournament in Winston-Salem NC this past weekend.

The championship match was full of drama. They were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time. In the last 30 seconds of the second 10-minute extra period, they scored to even the game to 2-2. Penalty kicks decided the game, leaving our Crash disappointed at the end.

No one likes to win or lose a game by PKs, but our girls had nerves of steel and showed a ton of character. They fell short in the end, but an amazing showing for them on the weekend.

Great work!
