Travel & Academy Registration Open

Registration is now open for the Travel and Academy Programs for the upcoming spring season.

Travel registration closes Sunday, February 3rd at midnight and Academy registration closes Friday, February 15th at 6p.

Registration is for all returning fall players from both programs and any new Academy players* that are starting in the spring.

To register, click on Register at the top left of our website. You will be brought to our registration site.

Fall 2016 – Registration Closed

Registration for the upcoming fall 2016 season is now closed. This is for age groups PreK through U18.  Register here.

Fall 2016 season information and dates:

– Season fees remain at $50 per player. There will be a $15 late fee for any registration received after the close of registration on August 18th.

– First game will be Saturday, September 10th for PreK and U8+. First game for Kindergarten will be Friday, September 9th.

– Kindergarten practices and plays Friday evenings from 6-7p.

– PreK practices and plays Saturday mornings from 11:15a-12p.

– Practices for U8 and above will begin August 29th.

– U8 and U10 will have one weeknight practice per week.

– U13 and U18 will have two weeknight practices per week.

– There are eight games per season.

– The expected season end-date is October 29th for PreK, U8, and some U10 teams. Any divisions that play interleague ages will end November 5th. November 5th is the rain date for all teams if there is a cancellation during the season.

– Each player will receive one team jersey and one pair of soccer socks.

– Equipment: All players will need a ball (PreK-U8 size 3 ball, U10 size 4 ball, U13+ size 5 ball), shin guards, and a water bottle, and comfortable and weather-appropriate athletic clothes. PreK can wear athletic shoes or cleats. All other divisions must wear cleats.

Travel & Academy Fall Registration Deadline

All players accepting a competitive roster position for the upcoming 2015 fall season must complete their registration by this Friday, June 26th at 6 p.m. This deadline applies to only academy and travel players; Rec fall registration has not opened yet.

There will be at $15 late charge if registering after June 26 at 6 p.m. AND you may lose your roster position.

Last week to register for spring soccer

This is the last week to register for the 2015 spring rec soccer season.

Registration closes: Thursday, 2/12 at 5pm – Click on the top left tab to begin registration.

Late registrations: There is a $15 late fee applied to all registrations after the 5pm cut-off. Roster placements for late registrations are not guaranteed; Players registered late are placed on rosters only when spaces are available and on a first-come/first-served basis.

We love our volunteers: Our club runs on the generosity of our volunteers and we need your help. Parents/family members/students, please consider volunteering your time to coach this season. If you have any questions, please contact us at christiansburgsoccer@gmail.com

Reminder: We allow player requests but not coach requests. If your player wants to play on a team with their friend/neighbor, both players need to request each other to ensure they are placed on the same team. If you need to make a player request, please log back in to your account and make the request on your registration.

If you have already registered and need to transfer to another division, please contact christiansburgsoccer@gmail.com with your player name and reason for needing the transfer. Notifying us prior to the close of registration makes it easier for us to accommodate your request.

Time is running out. Have you registered yet?

Registrations for our upcoming fall season are really starting to come in now and teams are filling up quickly. Registration for Travel and Academy teams close this Friday, August 2nd. The Rec divisions close next Friday, August 9th. After that time there will be a late fee of $15, so please make sure you get your registrations completed soon.

We’re getting a number of questions regarding the ages appropriate for each division. Below is a guideline for how each division breaks down:

PreK – players must be three years old by 7/31
Kindergarten – players entering kindergarten this year or are advanced players from PreK
U8 – first and second grade
U10 – third and fourth grade
U13 – fifth, sixth, and seventh grade
U18 – eighth grade and above

Registration is now open for all ages and divisions, PreK through U-18, for our upcoming fall season.

For fall, we have moved to a new registration site which will permit us to provide more targeted messages to teams and age groups, and to provide better support services for teams.  In order to work out the kinks to this program, we have selected 4 teams to register early and are asking that parents register their players now:

-U9 boys academy,

-U10 boys academy,

-U10 girls academy,

-U11 boys Hornets travel team.
