Any returning players will use their jersey and socks from the fall season. Youth soccer clubs have found that by not re-issuing these items in the spring season to returning players we are able to keep the cost of the program consistently low from year to year.
If we were to re-issue jerseys and socks to all returning players, we would incur an additional cost of $10/player. With approximately 350-500 returning players in the spring that would amount to additional club fees of $3500-$5000 for the spring season.
By avoiding these costs we are able to have funds available to purchase coaching equipment, maintain fields and goals, sponsor a year-end festival, insure players, run background checks on all volunteers, maintain liability insurance on all fields, and pay referee fees.
CSC has opted to keep our season fees as low as possible by maintaining this policy rather than increase fees for all to pay for the additional cost of re-issuing equipment. It is important to us that everyone in our community that wants to play soccer is able to play soccer.
