We offer a recreational soccer program for players from three-years-old through 16*. We play in both the fall and spring. Each season has eight games, with our U8+ divisions having pre-season practices in addition to the eight weeks of play.

*Players must be three years old before the start of the season and players cannot be older than 16 years or already graduated from high school.

Equipment: Players need to provide their own ball, athletic shorts or pants, cleats, shin guards, and water bottle. The Club provides a team jersey and one pair of soccer socks. (Ball sizes: Size 3 for PreK-U8, Size 4 for U10, Size 5 for U13+)

Registration: Fall registration typically opens in mid-summer. Spring registration typically opens in early winter. Open registration remains open for four weeks. We accept late registrations to our wait list and players are placed on rosters as space becomes available. All registrations are completed online through our team management system. Volunteering:  We are an organization supported by our volunteers. In order for CSC to provide a framework for 700+ players each season we need engaged families and volunteers.

Each season we need volunteers for:
– Coaching – head coaches and assistants;
– Team managing;
– Field lining;
– and various one-time projects (field set-up/take-down, equipment hand-out/turn-in ).
Please consider donating your time. Our club cannot be a success without your help.

Divisions:
PreK – players 3-4 years old. Practices and plays Saturday mornings 10:15-11am. Coed.
Kindergarten – players of kindergarten age. Practices and plays Friday evenings 6-7pm. Coed.
U8 – players 8 years old and under (or first and second grade). One weeknight practice and one Saturday morning game per week.
U10 – players 10 years old and under (or third and fourth grade). One weeknight practice and one Saturday morning game per week. Plays inter-league with NRU.
U13 – players 13 years old or under (or players in fifth, sixth, or seventh grade). Two weeknight practices and one Saturday morning game per week. Plays inter-league with NRU.
U18 – players 18 years old or younger (or eighth through twelfth grade). Two weeknight practices and one Saturday game. Plays inter-league with NRU.

Fields: We primarily play on fields located throughout Christiansburg, however, at times we are able to form teams based in Auburn/Riner and Shawsville. For more information regarding non-Christiansburg teams, please contact christiansburgsoccer@gmail.com
